The international conference
will take place from Monday, 4 June 2018 (arrival in the afternoon) to Friday, 8 June 2018 (departure after breakfast) at the hotel Pegaz in Krynica‑Zdrój in the south of Poland.
The conference (DSDFE 2018) is organized by the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of AGH University of Science and Technology. Its topics include discrete dynamical systems, difference equations, functional equations and inequalities as well as their interactions and applications. The scientific programme of DSDFE 2018 will start on Tuesday morning and will finish on Thursday afternoon. The meeting will be organized in two parallel sessions, however five plenary lectures (45 minutes each) are also planned. In addition to plenary lectures and contributed 20-minutes talks, there will be a few shorter talks given by PhD students.
During DSDFE 2018 the 70th anniversary of Professor Marek Cezary Zdun will be celebrated. To this end, a special session and a banquet will be held on Tuesday, 5 June. Some other social events are planned as well.
The conference is held under the honorary patronage of the International Society of Difference Equations, the Polish Mathematical Society and Juliusz P. Schauder Center for Nonlinear Studies.
